The New York Associated Press recently reported that a local fire department has said that at least seven people have suffered injuries after a motor vehicle crashed into a Bronx bus stop.
The Fire Department of New York said that four of the people suffered critical injuries and others had suffered serious injuries as a result of the crash.
According to authorities, a livery cab had collided with a minivan near the bus stop prompting one of the vehicles to jump the curb. Six of the people that suffered injuries were bystanders, including a few people who were waiting to board the bus.
Police say that the bus accident occurred before noon on Tuesday at Kingsbridge Road and University. Those who were injured were transported to St. Barnabas Hospital.
