Man Runs Red Light and Causes Bus Accident

A young man in Los Angeles may be facing charges of involuntary manslaughter when he ran a red light this week. He was joined by two other boys in a black BMW who ran a red light, hit a pedestrian, and then cause a bus accident injuring 19 more people when the bus overturned in Boyle Heights.

Adding insult to injury, the three boys fled the scene but luckily were detained by a construction worker until police arrived.

The bus was carrying students from Roosevelt High School who were traveling back from the East Los Angeles Skills  Center. Witnesses saw the children pulling each other out of windows before 18 of them were rushed off to local hospitals. All of those children are listed as having non-critical injuries while the driver, originally in critical condition, is now supposedly in serious condition. The three boys responsible for the accident also suffered from minor injuries. At this time their ages and identities are being withheld by the authorities.
