Police Investigate Hit and Run Accident

In the city of Los Angeles, it has been reported that detectives from the Sheriff's Department are investigating a hit and run accident and death that occurred early Monday in Paramount.

Authorities report that it still remains uncertain how the auto accident occurred, but they have said that the collision took place at 2:45 AM at Garfield Avenue near the 105 Freeway overpass.

It is said that witnesses who saw the collision told investigators that three people fled one of the vehicles after the collision. The driver that died was in the other car.  At this time, police say that they are trying to reach the family of the driver who died during the accident.
