Police Patrols Increased at L.A. Event to Decrease Accidents

After a young boy lost his life at a well-publicized Los Angeles event early last month, officers were on high alert for this month's meeting.

Last month, a young mother was enjoying the event with her young son when a truck came onto the sidewalk, hitting the mother's stroller. The young boy lost his life as a result of the truck accident, forcing officers to increase their presence to reduce concerns about a similar accident occurring.

Police took to the streets on motorcycle, Segways, bicycles and even horse to control the massive crowds that appear for each monthly event. As a result of the accident, food trucks and other vendors were relocated in an effort to keeps sidewalks less crowded to prevent similar accidents from happening again.

Has someone you love recently been injured in a truck accident? If so, contact a Los Angeles truck accident lawyer from our law office now to learn what legal options are at your disposal as you may be allowed to seek compensation.
