Boat Accident Victim's Body Found

Law enforcement officials have finally discovered the body of a man missing since June 13.

According to official reports, Minh Tu Quang Nguyen, 25, was rafting on the upper Kern River. He was last seen near Gold Ledge, some 15 miles away from Ant Canyon. It was there that he had been camping with friends. However, when he and Scott Neacato climbed onto a raft during the day, it capsized, throwing both men into the water. Even though Nguyen did not know how to swim, he was not wearing a life jacket at the time.

Neacato remains missing and is still being searched for local law enforcement officials and volunteers. In a bizarre turn of events officials found the body of another missing man just twenty yards from where Nguyen's would be discovered.

While they are rare, boating accidents can and do occur. If you have recently been injured in a boat accident, contact a Los Angeles personal injury lawyer now to learn more about your options.
