Community Reeling after Teenage Girl's Death

A community is reeling from the loss of a teenage girl in Sunland last weekend.

Police reports show that 14-year-old Lindsey Woodward had just attended a party at the Sunland Neighborhood Evangelical church when she got into her SUV to leave. However, it seems as though she put the car into reverse instead of drive, and went backwards into a storm channel. Commenting on the fatal car accident, Sgt. Donald Kelly stated that "She put it into reverse and didn't - or was unable to - stop."

Although the young girl was rushed to Providence Holy Cross Medical Center, she lost her life two days later. Woodward was accompanied by an 18-year-old passenger who received minor injuries.

When you are involved in a car accident, even a minor accident, you need a Los Angeles personal injury attorney to start working on your case. Don't hesitate to contact our law office to set up your initial consultation.
