Defendant in Court for Drunk Driving Accident that Took Two Lives

After a fatal drunk driving accident changed the lives of two families forever, the man responsible will finally see his day in court.

Jorge Alberto Molina, 27, was found to be intoxicated when he was attempting to evade police capture on New Year's Eve. He led officers on a high speed chase that ended when he ran a red light and crashed into a SUV. Its passengers, Demetria Dorsey, 50, and her husband, Kelvin, 54. The Dorseys were pronounced dead on the scene while Molina escaped with minor injuries.

He has now been charged with one count of hit and run and two counts of murder for the events of that night. When the prosecutor displayed the evidence against Molina to the court, Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge James Bianco determined that there was sufficient evidence to bring Molina to trial. Back in February, Molina pleaded not guilty to all the charges against him.
