Two Officers Taken to Hospital Following Accident

When a patrol car collided with another vehicle this past weekend, both officers were injured and transported to local hospitals.

According to officer Karen Rayner, the department is still investigating the car accident, and had yet to determine the cause. They do know that the accident happened around 8:30 p.m. near Farmdale Avenue and Exposition Boulevard. However, later reports stated that the officers swerved to make a left turn, and hit a parked vehicle instead. One passenger in the second vehicle was brought to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
