Drunk Driver Crashes into Sober Living House

Irony struck hard in Los Angeles with a drunk driver crashed into a sober-living house last week.

The driver and passenger, whose names are being withheld, were trapped in the wreckage at 8005 S. Figueroa Street until firefighters and police officers were able to free them. In addition to the two people inside the sports utility vehicle four people from inside the home were brought to various area hospitals. According to Los Angeles police Lt. Peter Casey the driver will be booked on suspicion of drunken driving once he is released from the hospital. He also mentioned that four of the six were in serious condition while the other two had lesser injuries.
