Grocery Store in Middle of Slip and Fall Lawsuit

Supervalu grocery finds itself in the middle of a lawsuit filed by Sandra Bailey of Wood River.

According to the filed papers, Bailey was shopping at the Supervalu when she became the victim of aslip and fall accident that was entirely the fault of the store. Bailey goes on to say that she suffered injuries to her right knee and leg due to a puddle that had not been cleaned up properly. The suit also includes damages for body and mind suffering, incurred medical costs and time lost from work.

Included in the long list of wrongs against Supervalu are failure to place warning cones on the floor, failure to maintain the floor in a safe condition and failure to warn of the unsafe condition.

She is asking for a judgment of over $100,000 in her two-count complaint.
