Several Passengers in Critical Condition After Bus Accident
When a mountain bus accident happened last week several of the passengers were listed in critical condition. A few days later, however, and doctors have upgraded their physical condition status.
Three of the passengers from Monday's mountain bus accident were brought to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center in serious condition. According to ARMC Medical Director Dr. Dev Gnandev they are slowly improving. One child, 12-year-old Jae-Yoon Ha suffered a major head injury and internal abdominal bleeding. Her condition has been upgraded from very critical to critical as she showed improvement in neurological function.
A 28-year-old female was upgraded from critical to good condition while a 17-year-old boy was upgraded from critical to fair. At this time doctors are planning on transferring Ha to Loma Linda University Children's Hospital or Children's Hospital Los Angeles to receive further treatment. Two more people from the accident, an 18-year-old woman and a 13-year-old boy are in serious condition, while an 18-year-old female, a 16-year-old girl and a 13-year-old boy have been listed as being in fair condition.
