Solo Crash Takes Life of Motorcyclist

A solo crash on the Del Amo Boulevard bridge took the life of a motorcyclist.

The victim of the motorcycle accident, 19-year-old Emilio Cambero of Long Beach, was traveling westbound on Del Amo Boulevard when he lost control of his bike. He then hit the center median which fatally injured him, according to a spokesman for the Long Beach police department.

The crash was called into the California Highway Patrol around 7:40 a.m.

While attending to the accident traffic on the eastbound side of Del Amo Boulevard was blocked, as well as an on- and off-ramp heading towards the 710 Freeway and eastbound Del Amo Boulevard.
