Car Accident Ensues Over Labor Day Weekend

While Labor Day weekend is known as the last hoorah before the summer ends, it is also known for a higher rate of fatal car accidents.

This was the case in Los Angeles County as a serious car accident took the lives of five people. According to police reports, a truck that was parked on the side of a local freeway was hit by another vehicle. The impact was so severe that the car burst into flames, trapping a man inside, which ultimately led to his tragic death. Another driver, operating a small car, attempted to swerve out of the way but became involved instead, causing his car to catch on fire as well.

As more vehicles became involved, several people were injured or killed. The highway was shut down for numerous hours as police officers and emergency crews attended to the wreckage.

Involved in a serious car accident? Now is the time to contact the Law Offices of Gerald L. Marcus so you can discuss your case and wishes with a Los Angeles personal injury lawyer who has handled a multitude of auto accident cases in California.
