Infant Loses Life during Auto Accident

Tragedy struck on a southbound interstate when a car accident took the life of an infant passenger.

According to the California Highway Patrol, a vehicle pulled off the side of the roadway due to a flat tire during rush hour. For some reason, a second vehicle ran into the back of the first. The car hit with such impact that the first car caught on fire, completely covering consuming the vehicle in flames. Although several people attempted to extract the 1-year-old from the back seat, all attempts were unsuccessful.

As a result, the young child lost her life. The incident report released last week shows that drugs and alcohol are not considered to be factors in this crash.
