Vans Carrying Church Members from Brazil Involved in Lethal Crash
A massive pileup on an interstate in Florida caused multiple deaths and injured many people. Now, members of one church are raising money to send the bodies of five victims back to their homeland. According to news sources, there were two vans carrying 15 members of a Brazilian church from Atlanta. They were both involved in the accident with multiple trucks and cars that collided last Sunday. The five victims from the church were all undocumented residents from Brazil. Now, the surviving church members hope to raise sufficient funds to send the bodies of the victims back home.
The police report shows that fog caused by a brush fire limited visibility along the highway. Once the cars hit that wall of smoke they say little could be done to avoid the accident. Several other members of the church received minor injuries and one of the victims is still at a Florida hospital with serious injuries.
