Delivery Truck Accident Reported

A package delivery truck caused a serious delay in traffic last week in California. It took several hours for police and emergency road crew to clean up the mess.

The truck was heading east on the interstate when the driver lost control of the vehicle. It struck a concrete wall, causing its diesel fuel to start spilling across the roadway. All of the affected lanes were shut down immediately in order to clean up the gas spill and repair the broken wall. The driver blamed a deer that had dashed across the road for swerving into the wall in the first place.
