Woman Files Lawsuit after Witnessing Death

A woman who witnessed the violent death of another woman has decided to file suit against the company responsible for the incident. She is claiming that just witnessing the gruesome death is enough cause to file a personal injury lawsuit.

According to the remaining victim, she was inside an elevator at her office when another woman tried to step inside. For some reason the elevator proceeded to go upwards without giving the second woman time to either enter or leave the elevator. Her body was crushed and she was killed instantly.

The woman has asked a judge to leave the elevator as it is so that she can have a forensic expert team go in and examine it for her case. She plans on suing the elevator maintenance company and the city for failing to ensure the safety of anyone who used the elevator. It is uncertain as to how much she hopes to be awarded.
